ISLA PERFORMANCE

Isla creates intimate, sensory and poetic performances where theatre, objects, materials, sound and visual storytelling come together.

Our artistic practice explores different forms of performance, with a particular interest in object theatre, miniature formats, immersive experiences and site-specific work. We create performances that respond to the places in which they take place — from forests and public spaces to streets, cultural venues and unexpected locations.

We are interested in how a place can become part of the dramaturgy. The landscape, architecture, sounds, textures and atmosphere of each location can shape the story and the audience’s experience.

From intimate performances to site-specific productions, our work is rooted in curiosity, experimentation and a strong connection between the performer, the objects, the space and the audience.
